If charging efficiency drops or it stops at a specific point, please check the following.

1. Use of low-power chargers is recommended: If you use a high-output fast charger (PD/QC charger) or a multi-port charger, the smart ring’s safety circuit may activate, cutting off current or making charging unstable. Whenever possible, connect to a standard 5V/1A (15W or less) adapter or a USB port on a PC.

2. Battery protection range: To prevent battery performance degradation, charging speed may intentionally slow once the battery is in the high-voltage range above 80%. This is normal battery management behavior.

3. Check the seating of Pro models: For b.ring Pro models, if the position on the charging dock is slightly off, the charging indicator (LED) may turn on but the actual charging current may be weak. After placing the ring on the dock, gently rotate it left and right so the contacts align perfectly.

Even when placed on the charging dock, it doesn’t charge at all.

If charging doesn’t progress, check the physical contact condition and how it’s seated on the charging dock.

1. Check the dock play and reposition (normal design spec): The b.ring charging dock has a small amount of structural play so users can easily insert and remove the ring. After placing the ring on the dock, gently rotate it left and right so the dock’s contacts and the ring’s contacts align precisely, then check that the charging light (LED) turns on.

2. Clean the charging contacts: If sweat or debris is on the brass-colored charging terminals on the inside of the ring or on the dock’s pins, current can’t flow. Wipe the contact area thoroughly with a dry cloth or cotton swab, then place the ring back on the dock.

3. Try a different charging head or cable: With high-output fast chargers (PD chargers, etc.), current may be cut off to protect the device. Try connecting the cable to a standard adapter (5V/1A) or a USB port on a PC.

The battery drains much faster than usual.

If your b.ring battery seems to be draining unusually fast, please try the following step-by-step optimization process.

1. Check the initial battery optimization period: When you first buy the product or right after a firmware update, the ring learns and stabilizes its model of your biometric data, which can temporarily increase power consumption. Wear it continuously for at least a week and see whether battery efficiency stabilizes.

2. If discharging is still fast after a week, there may be a sync mismatch between the ring’s internal measurement timer and the app settings.

Step 1: In the app [My Page] > [Auto Measurement Mode], temporarily change the measurement frequency to a different mode.
Step 2: Reset the device (disconnect, then reconnect).
Step 3: Go back into [Auto Measurement Mode] and restore your preferred measurement mode.

3. Skin temperature vs core body temperature (normal spec info): The value b.ring measures is not the “core body temperature” measured by a medical thermometer (under the tongue or armpit), but the “skin temperature” on the surface of your finger. Skin temperature varies constantly with outside temperature, sleep environment (temperature under your blanket), how tightly the ring fits, etc., so it’s normal for it to differ from a regular thermometer reading.

2. Rest your hand comfortably on a flat table and stay still and quiet until the measurement completes.

2. Check sensor operation (LED): When measurement starts, check that the designated light inside the ring flashes properly (heart rate: green LED; blood oxygen: red LED). Wear it snugly: When the sensor is in light, close contact with the inside of your finger, light loss is minimized and measurement is more accurate.

Sleep data isn’t being shown at all.

If sleep data is missing, check whether the conditions required for the device to detect sleep (heart rate and motion measurement) are being met.

1. Check sensor direction and snug fit: Make sure the ring’s internal sensor (or the b logo) is facing the palm side (under your finger). If the ring rotates during sleep so the sensor faces the back of your finger, or if it’s too loose, it won’t be able to detect the blood flow signals needed for sleep determination and won’t record data.

2. Check whether other data is being recorded: If other biometric data such as heart rate or blood oxygen also aren’t showing, check that [Auto Measurement Mode] is properly enabled under [My Page] in the app.

3. Restore data and sync manually: Due to platform (Google/Apple) policies, background sync is restricted while the app is closed. In the morning, open the b.ring app and pull down on the home screen to complete a manual sync all the way through, or run [Restore Data] in the app menu.

Sleep is recorded as too long, too short, or otherwise inaccurate.

b.ring measures sleep stages by analyzing heart rate variability (HRV) and subtle movements together. For more accurate sleep measurement, please check the following.

1. Correct wearing direction and snug fit (most important): Wear the ring so the internal sensor (or the b logo) faces the palm side (under your finger). The PPG sensor needs to be in close contact with the blood vessels on the inside of your finger for accurate sleep analysis. If the ring rotates on your finger, records may be missed.

2. Pre-sleep behavior: If you lie on the bed and use your phone for a long time before sleeping, or rest quietly, the device may interpret it as “sleep onset” and record a longer sleep time.

3. Movement during sleep: If you toss and turn a lot, or your heart rate changes rapidly (e.g., during dreams), the device may interpret it as “awake” and record a shorter time than actual sleep. As continued wear builds up data, accuracy improves.

The sensor calibration menu isn’t visible, or calibration has no effect.

Sensor calibration is an auxiliary function for improving measurement accuracy and is applied differently depending on the model and firmware version.

1. Allow time for data to accumulate: You may not see a big change immediately after running sensor calibration. To let the calibrated sensor learn your new movement patterns, wear the ring continuously for at least a day after calibration and observe the data.

3. Keep everything up to date: Occasionally, an outdated app version may cause menus to be missing or errors to occur, so please keep both the app and the ring’s firmware up to date.

Data for a certain time period is empty or missing.

If some time periods of data appear to be missing, please check the following.

1. If you try to log into the same account on another smartphone or tablet app, the security token on the previously logged-in smartphone expires and you’ll automatically be logged out.

2. Check social login link status: If you’re linked via a social account (Google, Apple, Kakao, etc.), security updates or expired authentication on that social platform app may cause logout. In that case, log in via social login again.

3. Regular server maintenance: For stable service, login sessions may be safely reset immediately after app server maintenance and updates, requiring you to log in again.

Biometric data graphs aren’t visible, or the app’s screen layout is abnormal.

Issues where the app’s interface or graphs appear broken or don’t load are usually caused by temporary data (cache) conflicts inside the smartphone, or app version compatibility issues.

1. Log out from [My Page] in the app and log back in, then check the screen.

Firmware update doesn’t progress or stops at a specific point (e.g., 50%).

Firmware updates are a delicate operation that transmits system files directly to the ring via Bluetooth (BLE) communication. If errors occur during the update, set up the following conditions and try again.

1. Ensure sufficient battery: If power is cut during an update, fatal errors can occur on the device. Charge the ring to at least 50% or safely place it on the charging dock so power is supplied during the update.

2. Maintain close proximity and reduce interference: Until the update is complete, place the smart ring and smartphone right next to each other (essentially touching) and don’t move them. Briefly turning off other nearby wireless devices (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth devices, etc.) can reduce wireless interference.

3. Keep the app on screen: While the update is in progress, never close the b.ring app or switch to the background (going to the home screen, opening other apps). If the smartphone screen turns off, communication may be cut off, so keep the screen on.

Music and media control functions aren’t working correctly.

If b.ring’s control function isn’t working temporarily, you’ll need to check your smartphone’s OS permission settings and the app’s state.

1. Check smartphone permissions: The smart ring’s control function uses the smartphone’s background media permissions. In your smartphone [Settings], make sure both “Notification access” and “Device control permission” for the b.ring app are turned on.

2. Update to the latest version: Media control functions depend heavily on compatibility with the smartphone OS (Android/iOS) version. Please update the b.ring app to the latest version in the Google Play Store or App Store.

3. Report errors: If it doesn’t work with certain media apps (e.g., a specific music streaming app), or freezes after a specific button press, please send the symptoms (screen capture or description) to customer support so our development team can work on compatibility improvements.

["post-6556","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry
["ko","ja","en
["GET
