Blood oxygen (SpO2) data isn’t being recorded automatically.

Blood oxygen saturation measurement is very sensitive to small movements and how the ring is worn. If automatic recording is being missed, please check the following.

1. Correct direction and snug fit: The red LED sensor (or the b logo) on the inside of the ring must face the palm side (under your finger). If the ring is worn loosely on your finger with gaps, light loss will cause measurements to be automatically canceled. Wear it in a size that fits snugly on your finger.

2. Allow smartphone background permissions: The mobile OS’s battery-saving features can block automatic background data collection. In your smartphone’s [Settings] > [Apps] > [b.ring], change the battery setting to “Unrestricted” and make sure Bluetooth and location permissions are always allowed.

3. Check sensor operation: When you manually measure blood oxygen via “Measure Now” on the app’s home screen, check that the red LED on the inside of the ring lights up properly.
