If the AI Diet analysis function isn’t working properly, you’ll need to check your smartphone’s security permissions and server communication.
1. Check camera and media access permissions: In your smartphone [Settings] > [Apps] > [b.ring] > [Permissions], verify that both “Camera” and “Photos/Media (Gallery)” access permissions are set to allowed. If permission is denied, taking photos or uploading images won’t be possible.
2. Try importing from the gallery (album): If errors occur when shooting in real time with the in-app camera function, first take a photo with your smartphone’s default camera app, then upload the image via “Import from gallery (album)” in the b.ring app.
3. Check your network connection: Image analysis is processed via a cloud AI server, so please try it in an environment with a smooth internet connection (Wi-Fi, or a strong LTE/5G signal).
