Even when placed on the charging dock, it doesn’t charge at all.

If charging doesn’t progress, check the physical contact condition and how it’s seated on the charging dock.

1. Check the dock play and reposition (normal design spec): The b.ring charging dock has a small amount of structural play so users can easily insert and remove the ring. After placing the ring on the dock, gently rotate it left and right so the dock’s contacts and the ring’s contacts align precisely, then check that the charging light (LED) turns on.

2. Clean the charging contacts: If sweat or debris is on the brass-colored charging terminals on the inside of the ring or on the dock’s pins, current can’t flow. Wipe the contact area thoroughly with a dry cloth or cotton swab, then place the ring back on the dock.

3. Try a different charging head or cable: With high-output fast chargers (PD chargers, etc.), current may be cut off to protect the device. Try connecting the cable to a standard adapter (5V/1A) or a USB port on a PC.
