b.ring has overheating/overcharging protection systems for battery life and safety. If charging efficiency drops or it stops at a specific point, please check the following.
1. Use of low-power chargers is recommended: If you use a high-output fast charger (PD/QC charger) or a multi-port charger, the smart ring’s safety circuit may activate, cutting off current or making charging unstable. Whenever possible, connect to a standard 5V/1A (15W or less) adapter or a USB port on a PC.
2. Battery protection range: To prevent battery performance degradation, charging speed may intentionally slow once the battery is in the high-voltage range above 80%. This is normal battery management behavior.
3. Check the seating of Pro models: For b.ring Pro models, if the position on the charging dock is slightly off, the charging indicator (LED) may turn on but the actual charging current may be weak. After placing the ring on the dock, gently rotate it left and right so the contacts align perfectly.
