When the device isn’t recognized, you’ll need to reset the smartphone’s Bluetooth cache and the device’s power state.
1. Remove from the smartphone’s native Bluetooth list (most important): If b.ring is paired directly in your smartphone’s [Settings] > [Bluetooth] paired-devices list, the app won’t be able to find it. If you see b.ring in that list, be sure to tap [Unpair] or [Forget This Device], then reconnect from the app.
2. Place on the charging dock and search again: The device may be completely discharged or in a power-saving state. Place the ring on the charging dock, confirm the charging light (power supplied) is on, and search for the device in the app while it stays in that state.
3. Select the correct model: When trying to connect in the app, double-check that you’ve selected the exact b.ring model you’re using (G2, Pro, etc.).
