The connection (sync) between the smartphone and ring keeps dropping.


Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) devices may have background communication temporarily restricted by the battery management policies of mobile operating systems (Google Android / Apple iOS).

1. Allow background app permission (required)

2. Android: In smartphone [Settings] > [Apps] > [b.ring] > [Battery], change the setting to “Unrestricted.”

3. iOS: In smartphone [Settings] > [b.ring], enable “Background App Refresh.”

4. Bluetooth interference and distance: Due to the nature of Bluetooth, having many wireless devices nearby (Wi-Fi router, other Bluetooth devices, etc.) or being too far from your smartphone can disconnect the connection. When sync drops, restart the app while keeping the ring and smartphone close together.
