Music and media control functions aren’t working correctly.


If b.ring’s control function isn’t working temporarily, you’ll need to check your smartphone’s OS permission settings and the app’s state.

1. Check smartphone permissions: The smart ring’s control function uses the smartphone’s background media permissions. In your smartphone [Settings], make sure both “Notification access” and “Device control permission” for the b.ring app are turned on.

2. Update to the latest version: Media control functions depend heavily on compatibility with the smartphone OS (Android/iOS) version. Please update the b.ring app to the latest version in the Google Play Store or App Store.

3. Report errors: If it doesn’t work with certain media apps (e.g., a specific music streaming app), or freezes after a specific button press, please send the symptoms (screen capture or description) to customer support so our development team can work on compatibility improvements.
